A great additional source of income is our our Christmas Shop where we have a tradition of offering complimentary cocoa and donuts by a warm wood burning stove. We have a table set up for the children to write a letter to Santa Claus and a mail box to send it to the North Pole. |

We begin to prepare for the Christmas Shop early in November, making over100 ribbons and gathering pine cones and materials for making wreaths. In mid November we collect the greens that are used in making the wreaths, swags, mail box huggers, candy canes, window boxes and centerpieces. |

| During Thanksgiving week, the garage is transformed into a Christmas Shop. A rug is rolled out and a wood stove set up. The walls are hung with the freshly made decorations and the shelves are filled with centerpieces and our own honey. We sell our own honey from our four hives. We also sell roping made of white pine and cedar and princess pine. We have a variety of tree stands and tree watering devices. | |
